This itinerary is a combination of the most famous Cycladic islands, known for their vividness and their nightlife, with the ones more popular for their gastronomy and their landscape. It is ideal for those who want to experience both the vibration and the serenity Greek islands can offer.
EMBARKATION: ATHENS
DAY 1 - SOUNION - KEA
Starting from the magnificent temple of Apollo, overlooking at the Aegean Sea in Sounio, your journey will take you to Kea. This Cycladic island is known for its large oak tree forest and its beautiful beaches.
DAY 2 - SYROS
Ermoupoli, the capital of Syros, is thought to be one of the most elegant villages in the whole country. Venetian style architecture and beautiful beaches with crystal blue waters, this island is sure to enchant you with its classy atmosphere.
DAY 3 - DELOS - MYKONOS
A passage from the sacred island of Delos, a place honored by the Gods and not inhabited by people nowadays. The remnants of the ancient temples are breathtaking. Moving on to Mykonos, you will find something for every type of traveler. Party lovers will enjoy the sun and music on Paradise beach, while those who wish to relax can visit one of the numerous beaches on the other side of the island. The iconic windmills are definitely worth a visit.
DAY 4 - NAXOS
Naxos is the queen of gastronomy in the Cyclades. It offers amazing wines, local cheese and a traditional cuisine that will leave you speechless. It is also a surfers paradise, with long sandy beaches and big challenging waves. Definitely visit the incredibly picturesque village of Apeiranthos.
DAY 5 - SANTORINI
The island with the most breathtaking sunset, with the sun resting behind the volcanic peninsula, inciting the applause of all visitors standing on local porches and terraces to watch it go down. It is also known for its diverse beaches, created by its volcanic soil and of course its wine and local food.
DAY 6 - KYTHNOS
Choose one of the island’s 65 beaches to spend your day, before you venture into the capital or the nearby villages and stroll along the stone-paved streets and the white-washed houses with blue windows.
DAY 7 - ATHENS
The capital of Greece stands out for its diversity and style. From the busy shops and restaurants starting at the Parliament Square to the romantic neighborhood of Plaka and from the ancient monument of the Acropolis to the vivid nightlife of its outskirts, this is a place worth exploring.
