EMBARKATION: ATHENS
DAY 1 - AEGINA
Aegina is famous for its ancient temple of Afaia, the holy pilgrimage of Saint Nektarios and the pistachio trees. In just one hour from Athens, you can lose yourself in the picturesque alleys of the main village or enjoy one of its numerous beaches.
DAY 2 - ERMIONI
Ermioni is a small town built on the tip of the Peloponese peninsula. It closely resembles an island, as it has lovely beaches and a small port. The surrounding hills, covered with pine trees, encircle the wonderful distinguished houses. Don’t miss out on the fresh fish and the fun night life.
DAY 3 - SPETSES
Spetses is one of the most iconic Saronic islands. No cars are allowed in the Chora and visitors can travel around using horse carriages. The island is famous for its architecture, naval history and culture. Cosmopolitan atmosphere, majestic buildings and beautiful beaches guarantee an incredible time. If you are lucky to visit in September, the traditional “Armata” festival – a reconstruction of a really important naval battle- will surely enchant you.
DAY 4 - HYDRA
Built amphitheatrically and completely free of cars, Hydra has been attracting many jet-setters and famous personalities, such as Maria Kallas and Sophia Loren, for many decades. The infamous Leonard Cohen chose it as his favorite destination and later on place of residents. Many grand houses are still standing after the Greek War of Independence and there are more than 300 religious monuments to visit. The main attraction is the island’s cosmopolitan night life.
DAY 5 - POROS
Poros is fairly known as the greenest island of the Argosaronic Gulf. Henry Miller has praised the beauty of its pinewoods that spread from the highest hills down to its sandy beaches. The port is surrounded by neoclassical buildings and the emblematic Clock Tower that stands tall at its top. Neorio, the Love Cove and Askeli are its most popular beaches, where you can have fun doing water sports.
DAY 6 - EPIDAURUS
Epidaurus is the home of the Ancient Theatre, surviving from 330 BC, included in Unesco’s World Heritage Sites. It is also known for the Athens & Epidaurus Festival, a theatrical festivity that takes place each summer and is attended by thousands of people. The town is perfect for snorkelling and scuba diving, as there is a whole sunken ancient city in its deep blue waters.
DAY 7 - ATHENS
The magnificent capital of Greece, the enchantress, the city that never sleeps. Do not miss out on the opportunity to spend a few days before or after your charter, discovering Greece’s infamous gastronomy, the pop-art, the incredible nightlife and of course some of the most recognized ancient monuments. Visit the Acropolis and walk around the surrounding area of Plaka, with the air of an island in the center of the city. Find your perfect restaurant in one of the picturesque alleys and have a cocktail under the starlit Athenian sky.
