Our take-aways from the Panhellenic Yachting Convention

The Panhellenic Yachting Convention is an establishment meant to bring together the industry’s top players, in every field.

As this was the second year Artemis Maritime attended the event, we felt the need to congratulate the organizers for a wonderful chance to learn new developments, evaluate current status, build a network and establish collaborations.

During the Convention many issues came up, the difficulties that we face and the lack of governmental support and substantial presence.

However, we choose to focus on the bright sides. New investments are taking place, while Greek shipyards are reclaiming their spot among the top notch shipyards in world maritime. New builds promise to take the hospitality and services to a higher level, while at the same time putting environmental care as a top priority. Effort is put on educating our crew to excel and to give a 7* experience to our guests. Greece steadily remains one of the top yachting destinations worldwide.

It is worth mentioning that the idea that most stood out in this Convention was authenticity, as our country’s most valuable gem. Authentic experiences, true local vibes, tradition and history are put at the forefront.

This blends wonderfully with Artemis Maritime’s vision to give our guests a real taste of Greece, through flavors, sounds, views and activities -onboard and at the shore- beyond the expected and craft charters that will put greek culture in their minds and hearts for many years to come.

After all, yachting is much more than an industry, it is a whole life philosophy.
